Course content addresses relevant provincial, state and federal safety regulations. The training's first component comprises comprehensive in-class lessons and examination. The content of the course applies to all types and categories of overhead lifting crane equipment. The instruction will specifically focus on all aspects of crane operation which could be carried out at the trainee's workplace. The customized practical training and evaluation session must be pre-scheduled. It would be held at the trainees' facility after completion of the in-class session. The duration of this practical training component is an hour or two. Two operators at a time will be trained by the instructor about skills like for example planning the lift, correct rigging practices and safe operation.

After finishing both the practical training and evaluation and the in-class instruction, the trainee will be tested via an exam. Every participant will be required to sign the safety rules. Individual wallet certificates would be given to trainees who are successful. A framed wall certificate would be provided to the company.
